Caden Shields

Shields represented New Zealand at the 2019 Doha World Championships marathon, and his 2:11:35 PB at the Nobeoka Nishi Nippon Marathon made him the fastest New Zealand marathoner of 2025. A physiotherapist, Shields plays a consulting role in shoe design for sponsor Ortuseight. Coached by Julian Spence.
